Untuk menyaingi produk Apple yang terkenal, Ipad. Kini perusahaan Samsung Electronic, pembuat telepon selular kedua terbesar di dunia yang berasal dari Korea Selatan meluncurkan versi terbaru Galaxi Tab, yaitu Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 ini direlease awal Juni lalu dan telah masuk di pasar Indonesia. Versi terbaru Samsung ini menggunakan platform Android Honeycomb 3,1 dengan layar sentuh 10,1 inci (25,6 cm) dan akan menjadi tablet tertipis di dunia dengan ukuran 8,6 milimeter. Galaxy Tab 10.1 ini sangat pas digunakan untuk konsumsi multimedia dan menjelajahi web. Harganya sekitar US$499 (versi 16GB) atau US$599 (versi 32GB). Akan ada versi 64GB, tetapi Samsung belum bersedia mengumumkan harganya.
